A library of photos to be used by trail groups and others
The purpose of this Library is to provide high-quality photographs that can be used by trail groups and others for publications, brochures, and presentations in the promotion of trails and trail activities. Most of these pictures meet certain quality standards.
These photographs are licensed for use only by trail groups only for the promotion of trails and trail activities. The allowed use is non-commercial provided you include a credit to the photographer. You may not alter the photos. For a legal description of use terms see Creative Commons license BY-NC-ND 4.0 with the additional restrictions of use only for the promotion of trails and trail activities. Higher-resolution versions of most are available; if needed, contact us. For commercial use (if you are selling whatever is using the photograph) contact the photographer.
Many of these photographs have been used in various publications. A number of them have been submitted to photo contests and have won. Several are displayed in art galleries and have been printed and displayed as 30 x 24 glass framed. Over 2/3 have been used in various public presentations. There are a few that are not western PA or up to the quality standards that are included to show various other aspects of trails for smaller size layouts.
